Cost of Death and TPD cover

The cost of Death and TPD cover is $1.45 per week per unit, deducted on a monthly basis from your ElectricSuper account.

For example, Cath is a spouse member turning 40 next birthday. She has applied for, and been approved for, 3 units of cover. This will give her $153,000 of cover for a cost of $4.35 a week.

Next year Cath will be turning 41 on her next birthday. Her cover will change to $46,000 per unit, giving her a total of $139,500 of cover for the cost of $4.35 a week.

If your ElectricSuper account balance falls below $1,000 we will contact you to advise that insurance cover will cease when your balance is insufficient to cover the insurance premiums.
